Picture this:

7 years ago, 2 people decided to continue their education at SDSU. It was move-in day on campus, with nerves and excitement everywhere. Daniel went to the wrong floor meeting, so they had not met yet. Later that night, lining up to go to the carnival, Hannah struts down the hallway with her new roommate, Ally. Hannah caught her eye on someone wearing a backpack and thought, "Who wears a backpack to a carnival??". Hannah and Ally were the second room to get in line. The backpack guy turned around and said, "Hi, I'm Daniel". We would say the rest is history, but we did not start dating then.

One whole year later, Hannah and Daniel saw each other at friends' houses and around campus. Daniel finally asked Hannah to hang out. After hanging out together, Daniel asked Hannah on their first date. To which Hannah replied, "This wasn't a date?" he laughed and said, "No, if this was our first date, we would not have watched Thor: Ragnarok. I would take you somewhere". Our first date was on Mission Beach, watching the sunset, where we debated whether the sunset was red or pink.

5 1/2 years of dating later, Daniel proposed to Hannah at the Oceanside Pier. We are ecstatic to be celebrating our wedding in the Dominican Republic with our family and friends to continue our future together!
